FAQ

Product Information

Q: How long can the sauce be kept without opening?
A: Please refer to the label for the stated "Best Before" date. It is typically one year from the date of manufacture, although it might be more than one year for certain sauces depending on the contents of the product. "Best Before" means that it is still edible and the food is safe, but not preferable. There is an allowance for up to about three months from the stated date, but there might be some discoloration (dulling of the color) due to oxidation, and the flavors might be less ideal: more mellow, less bright and fresh. ("Expiry Date" means that the food is not safe after the stated date, whereas ours is a "Best Before".)

Once opened, cover and keep it chilled. We use minimal or no preservatives, so sauces have a shorter shelf life than most store-bought ones, making them healthier and closer to fresh and homemade ones.
