15-Seconds to Shermay’s Steamboat Sauce

Quick and easy sauce to whip up using pantry staples. Tastes like the dipping sauce as steamboat/hotpot restaurants.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Tbsp Cilicuka Original (or Extra Hot for more heat)
  • 1 Tbsp runny honey, runny because it is easier to dissolve but any honey will do
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil, white or black sesame oil will do, with a preference for white
  • 1 Tbsp toasted white sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp coriander leaves & stems, finely or roughly chopped

METHOD:

  1. In a serving bowl, add then mix all the ingredients. Taste then adjust the seasoning. Serve as a dipping sauce or condiment for steamboat/hotpot or with fried snacks.
