All seats are confirmed on a first-come first-serve basis. Payment is due 10 calendar days upon confirmation of a seat, and will be auto-cancelled (without prior notice) if payment is not made. The booking is only guaranteed and complete when payment is made.

Payment options:
CHEQUE  Issue a cheque to 'Shermay's Cooking School Pte Ltd' and post the cheque to the address above. Write the names(s), date of class(es) on back of cheque.
IN PERSON  Pay by Cash/NETS/Visa/Mastercard/Amex in person at our reception during our office hours. Cancellation details below.**

       
  2 Reminder  

You will receive a reminder email with details about the fully paid booking at least 2 days before the class.

       
  3 Day of class   Please arrive 20 mins earlier to collect your recipes, select your seat & enjoy our complimentary refreshments. Class will start on time.
       

Cancellations
** Notice at least 5 working days prior to the class is required for a cancellation. There is a S$10 nett admin penalty fee per person per class for a cancellation. No exceptions or waivers will be given.

If you wish to use the funds to immediately pay for another class, the credit amount can be used. Alternatively, you can request to receive the funds for the remaining amount in the form of Shermay's Cooking School Vouchers (in denominations of S$10 and S$50), plus a cheque for the residual amount (i.e. any amount that is less that $10) in the form a cheque. These will be posted to your mailing address or you can pick it up from our counter. Please provide your mailing address and full name when you cancel your class.

The vouchers will be valid 12 months from the date of the cancelled class. The vouchers can be used for classes and/or retail items. The vouchers are transferable (i.e. you can pass them to someone else to use). Standard voucher Terms & Conditions apply.

If the vouchers are unused and expired, absolutely no extension will be granted.

If notice is given within 5 working days prior to the class, the full payment and/or class voucher will be fully forfeited regardless of the unforeseen circumstance (e.g. travel, illness, childcare/babysitter issues, etc). We recommend that you proceed to make your own arrangements for someone to attend in your place; then notify us by phone or email of the change and provide the name of the person attending as your replacement. Please note that this mean that if a booking is made within the 10 working days prior to the class, the full class fee will be forfeited if there is a cancellation.

DEMO
(Demo + Food Tasting, 2-4 hrs), Regular or Festive 3-Course/4-Dish Menus: S$89-159 per pax per class

HANDS-ON (Workshops)
(Demo + Hands-On + Food Tasting + Box to Take Home, 3-4hrs): S$149-220 per pax per class

* Domestic helpers are welcome to attend any of our classes and are charged our normal rates.
* Book and prepay early to avoid being wait-listed.
* A 10-person minimum is required to proceed with a class. In the unlikely event that a class cannot proceed, we will inform you 48 hrs in advance and you will receive a full refund or full credit which you can use towards a class within 6 mths from the date of the cancelled class.

Children  
* Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to attend classes.

Class Vouchers & Gift Certificates
*  Valid vouchers by De Dietrich, Shermay's Cooking School cash vouchers and gift certificates are accepted.

Corporate/ Private Classes

* We cater to 14-24 pax for hands-on class (depends on choice of workshop) and a maximum of 40 pax for demo-based class, which includes rental of space, recipe pack for every participant, ingredients, engaging the chef and all the kitchen equipment needed. Booking fee is available upon request.
* Bookings are subject to the availability of the chef and venue. However, you may advise us of your preferred class/cuisine and chef.
* Our public classes are held on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, so private classes can be held on weekday afternoon so as to allow sufficient time for clean-up by our team at the end of the day.
* There is no corporate discount (only available for individual retail customers who pay $35 for 1-year Membership or $50 for 2-year Membership).
* Please note that we are not halal-certified.
* Payment of 50% of cost will be due upon confirmation/blocking date of event; followed by the remaining 50% due 1 month to the date of the class.
