A self-taught baker and recipe-developer with over 25 years of experience, Valerie gets inspiration for her creation from food-tasting excursions locally and overseas.
Since 1999, Valerie has been conducting baking classes in Country Clubs (e.g. SICC, TMCC), SAFRA Clubs, Civil Service Club and Community Centres. From year 2002-2005, she taught 'The Art of Asian Cuisine', an annual cooking project at the Singapore American School.
Valerie is reknown for churning out recipes for famous desserts such as the strawberry hearts cheesecake, tofu cheesecake, chocolate fudge cake, as well as traditional and local recipes such as paus, durian puffs/cakes and nonya kuehs.
