Culinary Instructor & Cookbook Author Forest Leong grew up in Thailand and spent her childhood in the kitchen, assisting her father, a chef, in the preparation of traditional Thai cuisine. Her natural talent and innate ability for cooking led her to pursue culinary training at the Thailand Tourism Board and Institution, and paved her way to a successful career at some of Thailand's finest hotels.

Married to celebrity Singaporean chef Sam Leong, Forest conducts cooking classes introducing the fascinating world of Thai cuisine and dispelling the myths that Thai cooking is complicated. She believes that everyone should be able to enjoy preparing and eating Thai food as much as she does.

Forest recently launched her inaugral cookbook published by Marshall Cavendish Cuisine, Cooking Classics: Thai. (Autographed copies available at Shermay's Cooking School retail shop.)
