Ms Aki Watanabe graduated from Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan,
and furthered her studies by obtaining a professional culinary license with a professional culinary college at
Tokyo Masuda Culinary Collage.
In Japan, she worked in a French restaurant and a pastry shop, Qu'il fait bon, as a pastry chef.
She moved to Singapore in 2002 and worked as the head chef in a Japanese restaurant until 2008.
Ms Watanabe's extensive experience and skill in preparing Japanese
home-style cooking comes from her passion and love for food that not only
tastes good, but it is wholesome and beneficial for one's overall
well-being. She believes that food should be equally enjoyed as it is
prepared.
